It's NOT About Your Before And After Pictures
I personally do not like the format of traditional weight loss challenges. The ones that only reward you for submitting an after picture. I believe this is a flawed format for several reasons...
1. It forces you to have to put your body on public display.
- I don't believe anyone should have to worry about posting half naked pictures of themselves for the world to see unless it's something you willingly choose to do.
2. It's easy for a person to cheat.
- In today's word of technology, it is so much easier to photoshop a picture if you have the right resources (even with a dated sign in your hand).
3. It rewards the WRONG habits.
- Achieving a weight loss goal is NOT about the goal itself. It's NOT about the number on the scale or the after picture. It's about who you must become in the process of achieving the goal. When you are only focused on the number on the scale, you are focused on the wrong thing and it makes it much harder to actually achieve your goal. When you are focused on the daily and weekly actions required to achieve the goal, you are focused on the things that actually deliver long lasting results. And that's what I believe should be rewarded in a weight loss challenge.
Also...
Did you know that in traditional weight loss challenges where the winner is chosen via a before and after picture, only 10% or less of the participants typically make it to the end of the challenge.
Less than 10%...
I think that statistic alone is reason enough to create a better format.
I believe that number should be 100%. Everyone should be able to cross the finish line. Not everyone will cross in first place, but everyone should be crossing the finishing line.
I believe that if you join a challenge that rewards your effort instead of your outcome, then you will have a much better experience, you will be more motivated to keep going even after bad days (which are inevitable) and you will get much better results.
I believe this challenge will deliver all of those things for you. Plus... you'll have an opportunity to earn all of your money back!
Challenge Details:
Registration ends December 30th.
Challenge starts January 1st and ends March 30th.
January 1st - 5th: Traditional Calories & Confidence Week 0
January 6th - March 30th: 12 week challenge
March 31st: Winner announced
*Every Sunday: Mindset group coaching call at 7pm CST
*Every Monday: Data review group coaching call at 5:30pm CST (This call is to get coaching on your macros, calories, food suggestions, etc.)
How To Earn Points:
✅ Attend the Sunday mindset coaching calls live or submit your notes from the replay.
✅ Attend the Monday data review coaching calls live or submit your data for review if you can't make it live.
✅ Submit PRIVATE before and after photos. (No one else will be able to see your pictures besides your coaches.)
✅ At the end of each WEEK, update your Data Averages tab with your current macro targets.
✅ There will also be some surprise bonus point activities announced throughout the challenge. You will always have one full week to complete any bonus activities. Here are some examples of what a bonus point activity could look like: Post a picture of your meal prep, share your top 3 favorite protein sources, share a win or a challenge from last week.
Your Challenge Journey:
Everyone will start with a traditional Week 0. Once you complete your Week 0, we will coach you through setting your personalized macro targets. Once your targets are set, you will work towards hitting them throughout the week. At the end of each week, we will review your data together and make any necessary changes to move into the next week.
Every Sunday at 7pm CST, you will attend the Mindset group coaching call live, or you can catch the replay anytime during the week.
Every Monday at 5:30pm CST, you will attend the Data Review group coaching call or you will submit your data for review if you can't make it live. Anytime you can NOT attend a Monday Group Coaching call live, you will have the option to pre-submit any questions you have so that you can still get coaching and support while you are absent from the live calls. Any pre-submitted questions will be time stamped with your name in the email with the replay link sent on Tuesday morning so you can go straight to where your question is answered.
This process continues for 12 weeks.
Throughout the entire 12 weeks, you will be rewarded for your effort, not your results. You will earn points by watching the Sunday Mindset calls, by submitting your data for review, by submitting private before and after pictures, and by completing bonus activities throughout the challenge. The person with the most points at the end of the challenge will earn their registration money back!
