Dear Friend,
What do you want to be true of yourself when you die?
When I die, I want to be proud of myself. And I believe God wants this for me too. I donāt think he wants me to die feeling ashamed, unforgiven, or disappointed.
And I know that one day, I am going to die. What I donāt know, is when that day will be. It could be today, next month, when Iām 100 years old. I donāt know. And because I donāt know the exact day that I will die, that means that if I am going to die proud of myself, I have to live every single day in a way that I am genuinely proud of.
Up to this point in my life, I have accomplished a lot of my goals. I have helped hundreds of women transform their lives in my weight loss program, but if Iām being completely honest with you⦠if I were to die today⦠I donāt think I could say that Iād be dying proud of myself. š„¹
Because if Iām being completely honest, there has been this tug in my heart telling me that I am not living up to my full potential. And if I were to die today, Iād be leaving this earth with so much more left to give.
And if youāre anything like me, when you feel a tug like that. You canāt ignore it. You can try, but it only festers and grows in agony. And thatās what Iāve been feeling lately.
So Iāve been leaning into it. Praying. Praying more. Praying hard. And what I hear God telling me is that itās time to step up. I hear him saying, āSam, I have given you resources, knowledge and unique skills. What are you doing with them? You could be helping so many more people, but you are just staying comfortable.ā
Thatās what Iāve been hearing in my head. And I know that voice is right. Because I have so much more to give. I have the capacity to help so many more people. And so, thatās exactly what I am going to do.
I also know that one of the most powerful ways of getting yourself unstuck from anything, and propelling yourself forward into accomplishing anything that you desire in your life, is to make a commitment and create a mission to fulfill your commitment. So that is exactly what I did.
My mission is called The Triple One. 1,000 people. 1,000,000 steps. One year or less. Iāll hold each person accountable to completing their 1,000,000-step challenge on a timeline that matches their fitness level.
If youāre reading this right now, and you know that you are not living up to your fullest potential. And you want to start living on Mission, with a mission-driven mindset. Then I invite you to join me. Join the mission and join a movement of movement. Let me hold you accountable to not only accomplishing 1,000,000 steps within a personal growth timeline, but also to step into the next best version of yourself.
Maybe you know that youāve got some bad eating habits that you need to break. Maybe you know that youāve let yourself go physically and you need some accountability to get moving more again. Maybe you feel like your willpower is just too weak. Or that spiritually, you just feel lost.
I want to help you. I want to lead you to victory. But you have to take the first step. The Triple One mission has a specific focus of a step goal because when you physically put yourself in motion, it creates a chain reaction of events mentally, emotionally, and physically. But at its core, this mission will help you break comfort zones and step into your full potential.
So if youāre still reading this, itās probably because you were meant to. If youāre feeling a little tug, I encourage you to lean into it. Join the Mission! When you do, I'll mail you a signed and dated commitment card and hold you accountable to completing your challenge.

Here's How It Works

Ā Step 1:
Join the Calories & Confidence Skool community.
Step 2:
Once you get inside the community, go to the Classroom.
Inside the Classroom, you'll see a course that says "1 Million Steps Challenge". Click on that course to get registered!
Step 3:
Choose your challenge timeline appropriate for your fitness level ā.
You can set your own timeline or you can use myĀ Steps Goal Setting WorksheetĀ to create a timeline that will push you to achieve a 10% minimum increase in your average daily step count.Ā Once weāve agreed on your timeline, I will mail you a signed and dated commitment card. When your commitment card arrives in the mail, you will also sign and date it to lock in your commitment.Ā
Step 4:
Start your challenge š¢!
As soon as you are ready, let your challenge begin!Ā As you work towards your goal, I'll help youĀ develop and strengthen the habits, focus, and resilience needed to complete your challenge within your timelineāno matter what life throws your way.Ā
Step 5:
Cross the finish line together š.
When you complete your 1 Million Steps challenge, weāll celebrate together and I"ll add your name to a special email list. (See Bonus #1 for more details.)

- You can use any step-tracking device you likeāApple Watch, Fitbit, Garmin, or even just your phone.
- Iāll provide the additional resources to track your progress and keep you accountable to completing your 1 million steps.
- Every day, Iāll help you prioritize daily healthy living by sharing content that supports your mindset, weight loss, nutrition, and movement.
- Every week,Ā I'll provide you with a new weekly step challenge to give you fun and creative ways to get your steps in. Anytime you complete a weekly challenge, you'll qualify for the weekly contest to win a prize.
- Every month, you can join my Mission-Driven Mindset live calls (or watch the replays). These calls will equip you with powerful strategies to help you move with purpose, overcome self-doubt, and follow through even when motivation fades.
