This training plan will get you in shape and ready to crush the Murph workout! Whether you are a well conditioned athlete or just starting out, this plan includes options for both beginners and experienced athletes. No experience needed! All you need is the willingness to move your body.

In memory of Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, 29, of Patchogue, N.Y., who was killed in Afghanistan June 28th, 2005.

This workout was one of Mike's favorites and he named it "Body Armor". It is now referred to as "Murph" in honor of the focused warrior and great American who wanted nothing more in life than to serve this great country and the beautiful people who make it what it is.

Train For Murph, And/Or A 10K, And With Me!

Training

Murph and/or 10K

  • You will have access to both trainings, but that does not mean that you have to train for both.
  • Train for just Murph, just the 10K, or both. It's your choice.
  • If you choose to train for Murph, you can expect to get really good at pull-ups (or mountain climbers), push-ups, and squats, and you can expect your cardio to improve greatly from start to finish.
  • You can send questions to me directly through your training app for help with movements, nutrition, etc.
  • Track your progress as you go!
  • Invite a friend to train with you and complete Murph or the 10K together!
  • Use this training to get in shape for swimsuit season!
